Mike Kepka is a filmmaker and director as familiar with the set-life as he is with the dad-life. He loves his minivan because on any given day it could easily be hauling video gear, all three of his kids, or a civil rights leader. He has 20 years of experience working as a newspaper photojournalist and pioneered “City Exposed,” a visual columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. He works onbranded campaigns, political commercials, and documentaries and is an expert in video production.
Vinny Mwano
Business Strategist
Vinny Mwano is an award-winning strategist who helps businesses scale using the power of video. With a background in branding and product marketing, he has a unique ability to identify key pain points that can be solved with video. As a business development professional with a filmmaker background, he brings a unique perspective and skill set to the table. A strong collaborator at heart, his weapon is honest communication skills and a mastery of industry knowledge. The goal is to connect our team with your team.
Ellie Jackson
Supervising Producer
Ellie Jackson puts the pro in producer. She has managed $500K plus budget productions with a level of detail and process that keeps the client as ease. She has worked on a LA sets, NYC independent films, and co-founded the non-profit Neighborhood Theatre Project. Ellie spearheaded Kepka House’s international logistics for our remote process, executing complex shoots across multiple continents during Covid, and excels at helping others find calm under pressure.
Claire Kleinman
Video Editor
Claire Kleinman is an editor, filmmaker, and festival programmer. Claire has a creative approach to editing that allows her to edit branded content, commercials, and documentary films with ease. As a Cooper Union grad and New York native, she is deeply committed to accessibility and non-exclusivity in the film industry. Claire is a versatile editor, equally adept at trolling internet archives as she is comfortable making creative choices with regard to narrative and visual placement.
